Fewer patrons, so overcrowding is no problem. Inside, you will find substantial areas of the casino closed off, most notably the no-smoking area. The roomy issue doesn't seem to be much problem as most RV'ers have gone off to Mohegan Sun nowadays. Now the only area left is steeply inclined and not considerably roomy. Then they (last year) took the lower end of this lot to put in an overpriced gas station (no diesel, no discount). You could find an area at the lower end of this lot that would be reasonably level. After that, they moved the RV parking to the Rainmaker area. This area was pretty decent, reasonably level and accessible. Foxwoods used to allow RV parking where the MGM towers were built a few years ago. The regular menu at Alta Strada is much better than their buffet.Foxwoods casino is an organization that has degenerated in recent years as have many East coast casinos.

While the food was good, I would put my money on David Burke’s for brunch if you have the chance. The food was brought out in small quantities so it didn’t get too cold and the quality was pretty decent for a buffet. Just a sampling of what they had to offer….shown above is banana bread, eggplant parm. (there were only a few) There were breakfast baked goods (muffins, cookies etc) as well as the usual brunch suspects, eggs, bacon and potatoes. I was surprised that there weren’t more Italian offerings-pastas etc. The buffet was located at the front, looking out onto the casino floor. It’s located inside the MGM Grand Hotel and has tons of seating. Alta Strada offers a brunch buffet on Saturdays and Sundays, 10am-2pm (David Burke’s is only open for brunch on Sunday). You may know the restaurant from its other Wellesley location. This last time, we changed it up and went to Alta Strada for brunch. Brunch runs from 11am-3:30pm and you order off the menu. Usually, we end up at David Burke’s on Sunday for brunch. We like to go to Foxwoods to meet up with friend’s of ours who live in CT.
